Sunday School

Wesleyan Hills offers a variety of Sunday School classes to meet the spiritual needs of God’s children. Please join us each Sunday morning at 9:30am for coffee and donuts, then at 9:45am plan to attend one of the many classes listed below.
This is an inter-generational class that takes a “study with a sense of humor” approach. The class engages in open discussion and prides itself on offering a contemporary Bible study for today’s world.
A close and loving group of senior citizens make up the Wesley class. The class follows a lecture format and focuses on bible text with the use of a study guide.
This class loves to discuss and disagree about its faith. Different viewpoints are challenged and celebrated, which improves each individual’s relationship with Jesus. Life experience examples are used throughout the class to clarify points and bring additional relevance to the material.
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Children, ages 3-12, participate in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd – an approach to the religious formation of children that is rooted in the Bible, the liturgy of the church, and the educational principals of Maria Montessori. The children gather in anAtrium – a beautiful environment that can be best described as a retreat center for children – and use hand-made materials to learn of our Lord and Saviour through Scripture, sacraments, liturgical gestures and key liturgical moments.
*The Atrium opens at 9:15am and continues through 10:45am on Sunday mornings.)
