UMW – Day Circle

The Mary Martha Day Circle met the first time in 1959 in the home of Jim and Louise Cobb. We now meet the second Tuesday of the month with the exception of June, July, and August. We continue to meet in members’ homes, but occasionally we meet in the church in the Rebekah Room. In September we have a luncheon at Perkins and plan the calendar of meetings for year.

Our circle consists of a group of women of all ages. We meet 10:00am for fellowship and light refreshments. Our main thrust, however, is our Bible Study. This year we are continuing our Milk to Meat series. This series revisits truths we all know, but we need to be refreshed. All our teaching is Bible based. Jean Northern is the lead teacher and Caroline Scott assists in this teaching.

We issue an invitation to any and all who would like to join us. For the calendar of meetings, call the church (901) 682-5921.
Standing: Becky Anderson, Carolyn Carnesale, Fran Denney, Carolyn Scott, Jean Hewett,Mary Fergus, Julia Brantley and Jean Northern.
